Quakerfinder for Isolated Friends

In the first week of 2006, we started a new service for Isolated Friends. While there are over 1,000 Quaker meetings in the United States and Canada, many Friends and potential Friends are too far from any existing meetings. "Quakerfinder for Isolated Friends" is a registry of individual Quakers and seekers who are looking to meet each other - to start a worship group or just for correspondence and fellowship.

Once registered, users can search other nearby registrants. They can then contact any of them through our web-based email system. This system protects users' identity until they are ready to share it with their correspondent. A phone/mail message relay system is availablle free of charge to users in the US and Canada.

Because the service is just starting, there won't be many Isolated Friends signed up yet. More should be joining all the time so keep checking back. We will notify you by email when someone near you has joined.

If you have a nearby meeting we recommend you go there first. If there are no nearby results, then you can follow the link to the Isolated Friends registration page found at the top of the search results.
